Having worked under the BPO-BPM and VA industry for the past 10 years, has provided me more than enough knowledge and exposure where I learned the end to end process of this vertical. However, this has also opened my eyes with the limited opportunities being given to employees in the corporate world, which most often results in an unhappy employee and will eventually affect their performance and will then result to unhappy clients. I have also seen too many companies that practice the HIRE and FIRE culture, which repeats the cycle of the never ending loop of getting new employee, training them and letting them go. Such a waste of time. This is when I decided to start my own VA business so I can bring out the best in each of the VAs maximizing their skills and talents in their full potential, which will guarantee happy and fulfilled VA clients as well. I started training VAs, studying the different VA skills set and really putting myself out there as an actual VA before finally deciding it is time to build what we now call EllKnight VA service. However, starting your own company is never easy, but what fueled the desire to take the risk was the non stop friction between employees and clients with different goals. Knowing the ins and outs of this industry is the key to moving forward with it. The main goal of putting up my own VA company is to help SMEs succeed with their business without really breaking the bank, where quality of work will not be compromised, instead, is continually innovated while also helping Filipino virtual assistants secure a sustainable and secured job cultivating in them a deep ownership of the client's success. If the VAs succeed, the clients' success is guaranteed. This is the vision I have always dreamed of, finding the right VAs for the clients that needs assistance in growing their business, and also finding the perfect client for the great VAs we have in the country. It looks simple as matching these two but it is much complicated as it seems which was why I took a really good amount of time learning, understanding and studying the world of VAs partnered with my experience as I wanted to find that right formula in perfectly matching clients and VAs ensuring success of both parties.
